Workplaces are complex, and mistakes can lead to defects. Poka Yoke, developed by Shigeo Shingo, aims to prevent errors and ensure zero defects. It goes beyond statistical methods to deliver quality. Recognized for its effectiveness, ISO/TS16949:2002 mandates its use in corrective actions. Poka Yoke applies to manufacturing, services, and office processes alike.
